What are your Major League Baseball playoff predictions?
i predict i won't have time to watch them, as i don't have time to watch anything on tv anymore. add to this list all of the steelers games so far this year and grey's anatomy. i fail at being a fan.
Do you own all the albums of any particular musical artist or group? Who?
Submitted by dutterman.
No Doubt. If you read my AIM conversation with my brother I posted a few days ago, the part where he said that all I listened to was No Doubt... well, that is pretty much true. What can I say... I'm just a girl!
I ALMOST have every Weezer album, but I believe I'm missing the last one. I have Pinkerton autographed! (because I bought it that way... -500 cool points for me)
I might have all of The Sounds albums... they only have 2 right?
I'm kind of lame.
ANYWHO, my No Doubt collection is as follows:
What would you attempt to do if you knew you could never fail?

I'd just write this stupid freaking paper and stop hemming and hawing over it. Seriously, it's become the bane of my existance. I am stressed out, and I hate it.
Plus, I have a headache, but I believe my eyes are causing it, so a visit to the optometrist today and some new glasses from Costco - I should be in better shape by the end of the week.
When was the last time you made a drastic change to your personal style (i.e., wardrobe, hairstyle, etc.)? What did you do?

i became gothic.
okay, not for real, but i dyed my hair extremely dark, and at first it came out black. now it's faded out to the color i originally wanted it to be, but to tell you the truth... i miss the black. here are some photos showing my drastic change:
and now that it's faded out some..

What was the last wedding you went to? Were you in the wedding?
Dawn and Larry's wedding!
I was not, but my good friend Lisa was a bridesmaid. It was very pretty... if you go back into my history of posts, you will find the photos from that day.
I CAN'T WAIT for the next 2 weddings I will go to, and be in, though. Both couples are very special to me... and it's odd, but I was there when both couples actually "met" for the first time... Nikki and Nick, and Stacey and Jared.
Stacey's wedding is in October, and Nikki's is next August... almost exactly a year away!
Here are the dresses I will be wearing:
YAY for weddings, and friends falling in love (and pretty dresses)!
although, someday i will find it necessary to share with you the conspiracy behind bridesmaids dresses. they're evil, evil, EVIL contraptions and it must be stopped.
How old were you when you had your very first boyfriend/girlfriend? Do you still know them now?
Submitted by KIM.
8th grade, so 13 years old. His name is Kyle Busey. We're friends on facebook, but that's the extent of our relationship. I broke up with him (in a note, how lame!) because I didn't like him as much as my friend Sarah did. They ended up seeing eachother for a few months, as much as you can see a person at 13 years old, but they broke up and he dated one of my VERY best friends at the time. We were all in marching band together, and she was in my section. I got SO jealous, and that's when I realized I still liked him... but never felt comfortable saying so after what I had done to him. My feelings fizzled over the years, especially after I found new boys to crush on, but he still holds a special place in my heart as the first boy I walked down the hall in school holding hands with.
How many email addresses do you have? What are they for?
Submitted by clippedwings.
FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK. because i just made a new one today. i needed one that was more professional... i'm not sure that people will take me seriously at college when i'm like, oh yeah, send it to erikamonkey@gmail.com. i'm in an ADULT education program, it's not like i'm an 18 year old kid heading into my freshman year. so i made a boring one that's just my first and last name at gmail.com... ho hum. at least it will look nice on resumes.
e-mail addresses of the past and present:
erika@pimptress.com
erika@uptohere.net
xhottie0311x@aol.com (i'm not even kidding)
nodou34092@aol.com (my first one EVER)
What's the best practical joke you've pulled or had pulled on you?
Submitted by Mike Schwartz.
once, at work when i was a teller, i spent downtime between customers for an entire week cutting pictures of people out of brochures. a couple leaning over a computer, and elderly man reading a book, a small boy playing with a car in his mother's arms. then, while my co-worker was on vacation, i went into his office and placed these people randomly in his large collection of family photos. so it became him, his wife, his sons, and an old man reading a book. or his kids dressed up in halloween costumes, with a mother and her son standing next to them. he didn't notice until one day he was on the phone with someone important (oops!) and he swung around in his chair, noticed what we'd done, started to laugh, had to fake a cough, and then act like he just needed to clear his throat.
another one that was played on another co-worker that i can't take credit for... they placed those large packing bubbles under the large rug in the back of the branch... when he walked across them and they popped, he thought he was being shot at and immediately hit the ground. pretty much the funniest thing ever.
i used to work in the practical joke branch. the most we do at my branch now is put tape over the optical mouses.
