our puppy is officially one year old and i think my boyfriend has dubbed me officially insane.  i just spent more money on dog toys and treats than i ever have, ever. i also got him a doggy backpack for when we go hiking and camping!  oh, and we're having a birthday party for him tonight, although chuck refuses to acknowledge it.  i know he'll come around when he sees how happy boone is tearing the paper off all of his gifts. yeah, that's right, i wrapped the dog gifts. my mom got boone a present, too.

oh and for a cake, we're going to let him have a wendy's hamburger.  mmm greasy meaty goodness for my baby!  just hope it doesn't give him gas, or he's not sleeping in our room tonight!

and that was my birthday!  it was SO MUCH FREAKING FUN!  it was the perfect group of people.  then after that i was pretty toasted, so i made chuck put on 50 cent - 'in da club' just so i could sing 'yo shorty, its your birthday!' and then we went home and i passed out.

okay i think i've killed enough time... time to go cook tacos!  yummy!

its my birthday, yet i'm the one cooking.  my boyfriend is so terribly spoiled.

speaking of spoiled SO IS MY PUPPY!  he has a new big tasty bone and a brand spanking new DOG LICENSE now.  freaking finally.  he's a real puppy!  i just spent the past 30 minutes on the floor with him going 'who's a real puppy?  huh?  you're so spoiled.  i love you!  gimme kisses!'  i'm covered with dog drool now, but i love my boone.  who woulda guessed that i would have become a sucker for a big drooly black lab?  not i, yet this dog has got me in his paw.

so anyway, finally updated those birthday pics... but i'm going to start a new entry to post them all.

Woohoo!  Finally 23, finally as old as all of my friends from high school... for at least another 4 months until Nikki turns 24, and then Rachel turns 24, and then I'm the youngin' again.

My hair is red red red, but I haven't uploaded the pictures of it off of my camera yet.   I have LOTS of pictures to post from my birthday dinner on Saturday night, hopefully I'll get around to that soon.

TODAY, I am going out to Isaac's for lunch with my mom and step-dad, and taking Boone's registration to the borough office so we can finally get him a dog license.  So he can become 'a real dog', according to Chuck, because apparently right now he's imaginary, and I have a big imaginary black dog licking my toes.

Yesterday was employee day at Bent Creek Country Club where my Nana works.  It was GREAT to lay by the pool all day, and then there was a yummy pork barbeque that night.  I'm so loving my week of vacation so far, althought I did find an excuse to stop in at work yesterday.  I had to drop off a book that one of my co-workers is borrowing from me.  I stopped in for 3 minutes... and noticed that someone was standing in front of my desk, which is the Information Desk in the middle of the branch.  I walked over, in my bathing suit, mind you, and said 'I'm sorry, there's no one at this desk today, do you need help with something?' and directed them to the right person.  I'm such a good employee, helping people even when I'm not on the clock.

Then last night when I was taking Chuck to drop him off to get his motorcycle inspected, he surprised me by taking me in the shop and picking out a motorcycle helmet for me!  I'm so excited, because the one I use now doesn't fit me right, and it rattles my head a lot.  Now I have one that fits snuggly, plus its super cute, because its the same one that Chuck has so we're all nauseatingly matchy.

So anyway, I'm about to get up and go get a shower and get ready to go to lunch with my parents.  Then tonight will be filled with PACKING, because Chuck and I are going to his sister's house in Virginia tomorrow, then from his sister's house to VIRGINIA BEACH, then back to his sister's for the night, then we're going to SIX FLAGS in maryland on Thursday, resting on Friday then its OFF TO PITTSBURGH Saturday morning.  I'm sooo happy he took off these next few days with me.  This is going to be so much fun.  I can't wait!  YAY!
